Kimchi Fried rice is super easy and straight-forward to make. All you need is cooked rice and fully fermented chopped vegan Kimchi! When fully fermented Kimchi is stir-fried, it brings great depth of flavour.
Note: Store below 5 °C. Consume within 5 days of delivery.
INSTRUCTIONS (Cook Time: PAN-FRY 20-25 minutes/ serves 2)
- Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok or a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add 330g of fully fermented Vegan Kimchi with 1 tbsp of sugar and stir fry for 1 minute. (Sugar with neutralise the overpowering acidity of Kimchi)
- Add rice to the pan and using a spatula stir all the ingredients together for about 5 minutes (Separate rice grains as much as possible)
- Serve with fried egg, chopped spring onion and sesame seed on the top of the kimchi fried rice (optional)
