Tasty Kimchi Fried rice

Kimchi Fried rice is super easy and straight-forward to make. All you need is cooked rice and chopped Kimchi that is fully fermented! When fully kimchi is stir-fried, it brings great depth of flavour.

  • Pan


  • 2 tsp Oil Any type of oil you prefer
  • 300 g Fully fermented sliced Kimchi
  • 400 g Cooked Rice
  • tsp Brown Sugar


  • Heat oil in a wok or a large frying pan over medium-high heat with 2 tsp of oil
  • Add 330g of fully fermented Kimchi and stir fry for 1 minute. 
  • Add rice and using a spatula stir all the ingredients together for about 5 minutes (Separate rice grains as much as possible)
  • Serve with fried egg, chopped spring onion and sesame seed on the top of the kimchi fried rice (optional)

    Spring onion optional
    Sesame seed optional
    Fried egg optional
